I found this site on Equestria Daily with the commission for brony composers. Notacleverpony and I have been having talk about either making or finding a site for the brony-type musically inclined. I'll see if I can't convince him to join when he's done with grad.

So, this is the part where I tell you about myself, right?
I grew up loving movie soundtracks and classical music. I have a love and respect for music that is more modern, but when I find music that combines the two I'm all over it like a powdered wig on Mozart's ugly mug. I don't have as much musical training as I'd like, I've struggled to read music all of my life and have resorted to doing almost everything I make by ear. I'll admit that if I had a real strength, it's art by far. I'm only recently getting back into music and I'm not as comfortable with is as I am with drawing and painting.

Here's my youtube link: https://www.youtube.com/user/makkon06

And my devart account: http://makkon.deviantart.com/

Can't wait to get a little more active here, there's a lot I can learn from you guys. Smile

Don't worry, I learn mostly by ear myself.

I tend to learn by ear becuase I feel that is far more useful to being a musician than being able to read music.

That being said I can read music rather well, but I try to only use it when I reallly need it.

Welcome Smile (good art you got thar)

I can read but can also learn by ear whenever needed. Usually it's a combo of the two.
